Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about SeekBytes Domain Skill Engine.
- Can it work in my domain? Yes. We model your process as a Skill with Dialers (parameters, ranges, safety). When you don't know the best settings yet, start with a Simulator and promote to production as you learn.
- How does validation work? Operators upload photos or videos; the system compares to target states, flags deviations, and logs an Episode that updates memory and guidance.
- Is autonomy safe? Skills run behind RBAC/approvals, with policy gates and full audit trails. You can deploy on-prem/VPC and choose your LLM.
- Will our docs go stale? Episodes feed both the automation and the manual—so guidance and reality stay in sync.
- How is pricing calculated? We offer three plans: Starter ($149/mo, 50 video minutes, $0.25/min overage), Business ($1,499/mo, 1200 video minutes, $0.15/min overage), and Enterprise (custom). The Verification API add-on is $99/mo and includes 1,000 verification requests plus 100 evidence minutes; overage is $0.10/request and $0.25/evidence minute. Use our Pricing & Plans calculator for estimates.
- How do you handle my data? Is it safe and private? By default, we delete evidence (images and videos) automatically immediately after the proof report is generated. Retention is optional and configurable only if your team requires audit storage. This keeps your data minimal and trust-first.
- What deployment options exist for private or sensitive data? We offer both cloud and on-premise deployment. For highly sensitive data, you can deploy SeekBytes on-prem or in your VPC, keeping all processing within your infrastructure. Enterprise plans include private deployment and on-prem options.
- What are the best practices for creating operational videos? We recommend recording at 1080p or higher, using stable bitrate (MP4, H.264), high contrast for OCR, and clear step-by-step actions with brief pauses. Use legible fonts (14pt+), avoid sensitive data on screen, and segment long operations into 5–10 minute clips. See our detailed Guidelines for Creating Operational Videos for the full best-practice guide.
